The Laybolt Family
Frank Laybolt
Frank was born on November 2, 1910, at home. He was the first boy to join John L. Laybolt and Elva M. Richardson and was the second oldest.
Frank was a hard worker all his life. He fished on the sea just as his father did, fishing all types of seafood.
Frank married his wife Eunice, after finding out they were expecting their first child together. They got married on November 28th, 1934.
Frank passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 7th, 1993. Franks death was caused by emphysema that was brought on from being such a heavy smoker.

Eunice (Roach) Laybolt
Eunice was born on May 30th, 1908. Her parents were Joseph (Joe) Roach and Mary Romard.
Eunice and Frank had a shot gun wedding before having their first child Aeneas. Then came Evelyn, Francis, Angus, Ambrose, Mary, Fred, Cathie, Paulette, Karleen, Earl, Carl, and Donnie.
Their son Ambrose and new daughter Mary came down with pneumonia around the same time. This illness was very fatal then and they ended losing their daughter because of it. Mary was born on June 30th, 1949 and passed away on January 10th, 1950.
Eunice peacefully passed at the Garden Home in Charlottetown on August 13, 2007 at eighty-nine years of age. She passed of old age, but over the years Eunice had a few minor strokes and she had some blood clots to the brain.
