The Laybolt Family
John Leonard Laybolt
John was born on May 7th, 1891 in Clam Harbour, NS. He was the first Laybolt to start populating Prince Edward Island. He was married to Elva M. Richardson, on September 10, 1908, by Reverend D.N. McPhail in Bristol, PEI.
They lived together in Dundee, PEI. They had ten children together; Elizabeth, Frank, David, George, Everett Ronald, Alonzo, Selina, Albert, Gert, and Sheldon. He died in Charlottetown PEI on October 19th, 1966. He passed away due to injuries from an automobile accident and is buried in West St. Peters, PEI.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Elva was born on May 12th, 1890 in Clam Harbour, NS. She was the daught of David Richardson and Elizabeth Ann Debaie.
Elva died in Charlottetown, PEI on August 12th, 1978 at 88 years of age. She is buried in St. Peter’s Presbyterian Cementery.
